Salary: CAD 66,400 - 74,700 / annual
Aspect Biosystems, a biotechnology company developing regenerative medicine therapies using AI-powered bioprinting and cell engineering, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support global operations from their Vancouver office.
Reporting to the Procurement Supervisor, you will execute day-to-day procurement, logistics, and supply chain activities across company locations. Key responsibilities include:
• Managing purchase order creation, requisition processing, and order follow-up
• Maintaining accurate ERP system entries including POs, vendor profiles, and item master data
• Scheduling inbound/outbound transportation and shipping between Vancouver, Fremont, research partners, and vendors
• Managing cross-border transfer documentation and shipment tracking
• Supporting receiving, inspection, distribution, and inventory transactions
• Processing invoice matching, vendor communications, and lead-time tracking
• Maintaining procurement and shipping records for operational and audit compliance
• Providing operational support to Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D teams
• Managing front office reception duties including package management, deliveries, vendor arrivals, building security, and guest sign-ins
You will need post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Operations, or related field, plus 3+ years of procurement, logistics, or supply chain experience. Required skills include hands-on ERP proficiency, familiarity with international shipping and customs documentation, ability to multitask in fast-paced environments, strong communication with internal teams and external vendors, and independent work capability.
This is a full-time, in-office role based in Vancouver, BC.
