ClickHouse, a Forbes Cloud 100 company and leader in real-time analytics and data warehousing, is seeking a Procurement Sourcing Specialist to join its Procurement team. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role with significant internal visibility across Engineering, Marketing, Sales, IT, Legal, Security, and Finance. In this role, you will own sourcing and vendor negotiation across multiple spend categories. You'll lead competitive sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ), prepare detailed bid comparisons with clear recommendations, and negotiate commercial terms including pricing, discounts, payment terms, and renewal protections. You'll maintain the renewal calendar for your categories and eliminate surprise auto-renewals by engaging stakeholders early. You'll shepherd purchase requests through the full intake-to-pay process, coordinating with Legal on contract review, Security on vendor risk assessment, IT on provisioning, and Finance on budgeting and PO treatment. You'll manage the critical path, set clear timelines, and escalate blockers early. Supplier onboarding—documentation, tax forms, banking verification, and system records—falls under your purview, along with maintaining clean, auditable transaction records. Analysis is a key component: you'll examine purchasing and spend data to identify consolidation opportunities, duplicate tools, pricing outliers, and category trends. You'll maintain reporting on savings, cost avoidance, cycle time, and spend under management, presenting findings to leadership and budget owners. You'll support annual and quarterly budget planning with category-level insights and renewal forecasts. You'll also improve the internal buying experience at ClickHouse—clearer guidance, faster turnaround, less friction, better self-service—and serve as a knowledgeable point of contact on procurement policy and process. You bring 2+ years of sourcing, procurement, or strategic purchasing experience with hands-on vendor negotiation. You have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), strong finance fundamentals, exceptional attention to detail, and a genuine customer-service orientation toward internal stakeholders. You're self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving industry. You communicate clearly and credibly with senior vendor counterparts. Preferred qualifications include sourcing experience in high-growth tech or SaaS, familiarity with P2P platforms, CLM, ERP, and spend visibility tools, working knowledge of contract terms and third-party risk (DPAs, GDPR, SOC 2, security reviews, insurance, AI/data-use terms), and experience supporting global, multi-entity businesses with multi-currency purchasing and international suppliers.
