ClickHouse, a Forbes Cloud 100 company and leader in real-time analytics and data warehousing, is seeking a Procurement Sourcing Specialist to join its Procurement team. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role with significant internal visibility across Engineering, Marketing, Sales, IT, Legal, Security, and Finance.
You will own sourcing and vendor negotiations across multiple spend categories, managing the full procurement lifecycle from intake to payment. Key responsibilities include leading vendor negotiations on commercial terms, pricing, discounts, and renewal protections; running competitive sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ) with bid analysis and recommendations; and maintaining renewal calendars to prevent surprise auto-renewals.
You will shepherd purchase requests through the complete process, coordinating with Legal on contract reviews, Security on vendor risk assessments, IT on provisioning, and Finance on budgeting and PO treatment. This includes managing supplier onboarding, documentation, tax forms, and maintaining auditable records.
Analysis and insights are core to the role: you will analyze spend data to identify consolidation opportunities, duplicate tools, pricing outliers, and category trends. You'll maintain reporting on savings, cost avoidance, cycle time, and spend under management, presenting findings to leadership and budget owners.
You will also drive process improvements to enhance the internal buying experience, provide guidance on procurement policy, and serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for "how do I buy this?" questions.
Required: 2+ years of sourcing, procurement, or strategic purchasing experience with hands-on vendor negotiation; Bachelor's degree or equivalent; strong finance fundamentals; exceptional attention to detail; self-driven approach; and excellent communication skills.
Preferred: experience in high-growth tech/SaaS; familiarity with P2P platforms, CLM, ERP, and spend visibility tools; knowledge of contract terms, DPAs, GDPR, SOC 2, and security review concepts; experience with global, multi-entity businesses.
