Legora is an AI-native legal workspace used by 1,000+ customers globally, including top law firms and enterprises. The company has scaled to $100M+ ARR and operates across Europe, North America, and APAC.
You will be Legora's first dedicated Procurement hire in New York, building the intake-to-PO infrastructure from the ground up. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you'll design and optimize procurement processes on current platforms, then own day-to-day operations. The role bridges Finance, Legal, Security, and IT, with direct exposure to how the business scales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and launch the intake-to-procure lifecycle: intake triage, approval matrices, vendor onboarding, PO creation, fast-buy paths (P-card, catalogues, self-service).
- Identify and deploy AI agents, automation, and modern tooling to improve procurement; verify AI output rigorously.
- Support vendor master data quality and PO accuracy; troubleshoot disputes upstream before they reach AP.
- Serve as subject-matter expert on procurement tools, policy, and compliance; exercise sound judgment on exceptions.
- Build dashboards and reports tracking procurement performance, spend trends, and anomalies for leadership.
- Coordinate security, privacy, and legal vendor diligence to keep purchases on timeline.
- Drive cross-functional change management for new processes and tooling; integrate acquired companies' vendors and contracts.
- Create self-serve enablement: playbooks, policy library, templates, and how-to videos.
You bring 3–6 years of procurement operations or analytically rigorous ops experience at high-growth tech. You've built procurement processes from zero (intake, approvals, onboarding), not just operated existing ones. You're fluent in P2P tooling (Ramp, Ironclad, Zip, NetSuite, etc.) and biased toward automation. You're comfortable building and evaluating AI tools with rigor. You understand AP and payment processes, resolve exceptions with sound judgment, and communicate clearly with internal teams and vendors. Nice-to-haves: first/early procurement hire experience, vendor security review fluency (SOC 2, ISO 27001, DPAs), multi-entity/multi-currency procurement, or platform implementation experience.
