Port.io is building an open and flexible Agentic SDLC Platform that serves as the central nervous system for engineering organizations. Following a $100M Series C funding round, the company is in rapid hypergrowth with strong enterprise momentum. The platform unifies engineering stacks and exposes them as governed layers through golden paths for developers and AI agents, helping organizations transition from manual processes to autonomous, AI-assisted engineering workflows. The Procurement Manager will own the day-to-day purchasing lifecycle and vendor relationships, with a primary mission to transition Port's current informal purchasing process into an organized, efficient, and scalable system. This is a fully hands-on role where the successful candidate will build procurement infrastructure from scratch—designing policies, implementing workflows, and executing operational tasks before scaling. Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end procurement process with continuous improvement and automation initiatives; conducting supply market research to provide category intelligence and industry benchmarks; structuring, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements and renewals; partnering with business units to understand procurement needs and lead purchasing initiatives; negotiating with suppliers for optimal commercial terms; identifying and leading cost-reduction and cost-avoidance initiatives; reviewing existing and new contracts for compliance; and establishing, communicating, and enforcing procurement policies and governance across the organization. This role is highly collaborative, acting as a strategic bridge between internal team needs and external supplier capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, vendor management experience, and the ability to build scalable processes in a high-growth environment.
