Fonoa is a Tax Operating System providing AI-driven autonomous tax solutions across 120+ countries, trusted by major companies like Netflix, Spotify, Uber, and Booking.com. The company is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to establish and lead procurement operations from the ground up.
In this foundational role, you will own the complete vendor lifecycle and procurement strategy for the organization. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing end-to-end procurement processes and governance frameworks, managing vendor identification through qualification and ongoing relationship management, and leading RFP/RFI processes with rigorous evaluation of competitive bids. You will conduct commercial negotiations on contracts, pricing, SLAs, and terms across all spend categories including products, software, office supplies, and third-party services.
You will manage internal approval workflows via procurement software, ensuring proper authorization and audit trails, and partner closely with Finance, Legal, and operational teams to align procurement with business needs and budget cycles. Key responsibilities also include tracking vendor performance, identifying risks, driving continuous improvement across the supplier base, and owning the complete renewals process by maintaining visibility of contract expiries and leading renegotiations.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, ideally in fast-paced or scaling environments. You should have a proven track record building procurement processes and frameworks from scratch, not simply inheriting existing systems. Strong commercial negotiation skills across diverse spend categories, experience running end-to-end RFP/RFI processes, and comfort with procurement software and approval workflows are essential. You are analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to influence across functions without direct authority. Fluency in English is required.
