Candescent is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end strategic sourcing activities for the India operations, supporting a global fintech company that delivers intelligent banking and digital financial solutions. This is a hands-on management role focused on indirect procurement categories including Technology, Professional Services, and Marketing. You will own the complete sourcing lifecycle: conducting market analysis, identifying and evaluating suppliers, leading RFx events (RFI, RFP, RFQ), and negotiating commercial terms to deliver measurable cost savings and risk mitigation. You'll draft and manage Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, NDAs, and other contracts in partnership with Legal, ensuring alignment with corporate standards on data privacy, security, and compliance. Key responsibilities include managing supplier relationships and performance, analyzing category spend to identify consolidation and cost reduction opportunities, and supporting supplier risk management activities such as financial health checks and cybersecurity assessments. You'll operate within the company's P2P/S2P procurement platform (Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle, or Ivalua), track KPIs including savings and cycle time, and identify process improvements. You'll serve as a trusted business partner to stakeholders across IT, Engineering, HR, Marketing, and Finance, translating business requirements into clear sourcing scopes and evaluation criteria. Success in Year 1 means owning your category portfolio end-to-end, delivering committed savings targets, and establishing credibility. In Year 2+, you'll drive category strategy refresh and contribute to global sourcing initiatives. Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field; 6–9 years of progressive procurement/strategic sourcing experience, preferably in technology, financial services, or BPO; demonstrated experience leading sourcing events and negotiating with technology and services suppliers; strong knowledge of SaaS/cloud contract terms; hands-on experience with a major procurement platform; Excel proficiency for spend analytics; excellent English communication and stakeholder influence skills. Preferred: MBA or post-graduate degree in Supply Chain/Operations/Finance; CIPS or CPSM certification; experience with US/Europe-headquartered multinationals; exposure to fintech, banking software, or regulated financial services; familiarity with Indian GST and cross-border supplier considerations; experience with supplier diversity and ESG sourcing.
