Salary: USD 80,000 - 120,000 / annual

Voyager Technologies (formerly Astrobotic Technologies, now part of Lunar Systems) is an innovative space, defense, and national security technology company developing mission-critical solutions for aerospace and defense applications. The Procurement Engineer will support the acquisition of goods and services for Voyager Lunar Systems through effective management of source selection, purchase commitments, negotiations, and supplier relationships. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, this hybrid role is based in Pittsburgh, PA. Key responsibilities include: - Sourcing all types of goods and services for lunar systems programs, including flight-grade and engineering-model avionics, mechanical and electronic components, ground support equipment, engineering analysis services, and manufacturing tools - Conducting negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, conditions, pricing, and schedules - Performing source selection based on established best-value criteria - Interpreting engineering data (specifications, drawings, statements of work) to facilitate communication between internal project teams and suppliers - Collaborating with the Engineering Design Department on critical component features and identifying alternate parts - Maintaining coordination with internal customers to identify supply chain performance risks and develop mitigation strategies - Performing supplier quality activities including qualification, performance oversight, and relationship development - Ensuring program requirements are appropriately prioritized and executed Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical, electromechanical, mechanical, aerospace, or industrial engineering (or supply chain) with 5+ years of supply chain experience, OR associate degree with 7+ years. Demonstrated negotiation skills, strong written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, familiarity with procurement management and ERP systems, and ability to work in fast-paced environments required. Preferred: aerospace/DOD industry experience and familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and NASA procurement requirements. Travel up to 10% including possible overnights.
