Mixpanel is seeking a Procurement Enablement Lead to build and lead the procurement program across the organization. This role reports into the Operational Finance team and manages a team of two procurement specialists.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing a team of two, with focus on coaching, skill-building, and career growth while maintaining high performance standards
- Leading complex procurement projects across functions, setting priorities and anticipating challenges
- Collaborating cross-functionally with FP&A, Security, IT, and Legal on purchasing processes and vendor management
- Building strategic vendor relationships to negotiate discounts and maximize value
- Driving procurement process improvements and identifying opportunities to leverage AI and emerging tools
- Providing procurement training and guidance to employees involved in vendor selection and purchasing
- Shaping and communicating the vision for the procurement function aligned with Operational Finance goals
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of procurement experience, including direct people management. You should have SaaS company experience, a track record of leading procurement improvement initiatives, and strong vendor negotiation skills. You'll need sound business judgment, risk management experience, and strong data analytics capabilities. This role requires excellent cross-functional collaboration, the ability to coach and develop team members, and comfort presenting to C-suite executives. You should be adaptable, resilient, and driven to build a world-class procurement program.
