As Procurement Category Manager for IT and Data, you will own and drive cost savings across indirect spend categories critical to Mistral's scaling operations. This role reports to the Procurement team and focuses on IT and Data procurement strategies, including data acquisition, SaaS tools, and infrastructure tooling.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading global negotiations on indirect spend to achieve measurable cost savings
- Defining and executing procurement strategies tailored to Data and IT categories
- Identifying, managing, and renegotiating existing contracts, tools, and vendor relationships
- Building and managing supplier panels to reduce fragmentation and improve governance
- Rationalizing tool usage and consolidating internal needs with business stakeholders
- Managing procurement projects end-to-end, from RFP through contract execution
- Contributing to procurement digitization through P2P tool adoption and process improvements
You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across the organization to rationalize contracts, implement cost-reduction processes, and optimize resource allocation.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Buyer or Category Manager, ideally in IT, SaaS, or data-related categories
- Proven negotiation ability with large providers in competitive or complex markets
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple concurrent initiatives and align stakeholders
- Assertiveness and communication skills to push back constructively and build trusted relationships
- Adaptability to thrive in dynamic, fast-evolving environments
