Salary: USD 55,000 - 70,000 / annual
Tempus is seeking a Process Manager for Lab Operations to support their clinical testing business. The role focuses on optimizing lab systems and workflows while supporting new assay launches and process improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include developing deep understanding of lab systems and testing pipelines, leading user acceptance testing (UAT) for internal tools and clinical tests, and coordinating launch activities. You will collect and document business and technical requirements for software tools and operational procedures, working closely with engineering and product teams to scope and build requirements that support internal operations and test delivery.
Additional duties include project tracking and status reporting with timeline management and stakeholder communication, investigating product and process issues through root cause analysis, assessing impact, and escalating to leadership as needed.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in lab operations, process management, or related fields. You should demonstrate excellent communication skills, comfort in fast-paced dynamic environments with shifting priorities, and tech-savviness with ability to learn and integrate new technologies quickly. Strong organizational skills, systematic thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to execute mission-critical tasks independently while collaborating with high-level teams are essential.
