Intuit is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead strategic programs and initiatives across the Mid-Market Product Development organization. This is a high-impact individual contributor role (Staff / Principal level) that does not manage people but operates with significant scope and influence across the organization. You will own portfolio and strategic leadership, partnering with Portfolio Leadership to unblock program teams and guide delivery across a complex program portfolio. You'll connect dots across various programs to simplify priorities for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and influence prioritization discussions across Product and Engineering leaders to ensure focus on highest-impact work. You'll leverage AI tools and data insights to streamline program operations and accelerate execution velocity. Key responsibilities include leading cross-team dependency forums across engineering domains, driving horizontal alignment across Mid-Market PD teams and partners. You'll define and implement program frameworks and consistent operating cadences, proactively manage risks, dependencies, architectural misalignment, and execution bottlenecks using data-informed decision-making. You'll drive cross-functional execution across multiple scrum teams with clarity on priorities, roles, and outcomes. You'll partner with engineering leaders to develop and maintain six-quarter capability roadmaps aligned to product and business strategies, ensuring roadmaps articulate technical investments, sequencing, and tradeoffs. You'll translate business and platform strategy into clear program goals, milestones, and measurable success metrics, and define repeatable frameworks that improve delivery speed, quality, and scalability. Stakeholder communication is critical: you'll drive transparency through clear, actionable communication at all levels—from engineering teams to Senior Leadership. You'll build trusted relationships across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Business Operations, and mentor other TPMs to raise the bar across the organization. Required: 10+ years in technical program management, engineering, architecture, or related roles. Proven ability to influence Director/VP-level stakeholders without direct authority. Strong technical depth to engage credibly with senior engineers and architects. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially with executive audiences. Demonstrated success driving complex, multi-domain initiatives with significant dependencies. Preferred: experience with platform or large-scale enterprise systems, Forward Deploy programs, BI/data platforms, or AI-driven capabilities.
