Archer Technologies is an aerospace company building all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for sustainable air mobility. The Principal Solution Architect – Supply Chain Systems will lead end-to-end architecture, roadmap, and solution design for supply chain and logistics functions across the enterprise.
Key responsibilities include owning the supply chain architecture vision across procurement, planning, logistics, and supplier collaboration; defining scalable SAP S/4HANA designs (MM, SD, EWM, PP, TM, GTS, Ariba integration); and leading design governance through the Architecture Review Board. You will translate business needs into system capabilities, oversee integration architecture between SAP and non-SAP systems (IBP, Palantir, BTP, Workato, Mendix), and ensure compliance with SOX, trade, and audit controls.
The role involves process transformation initiatives, introducing automation and AI/ML-enabled demand forecasting, and driving data governance across Material Master, Supplier Master, and transactional data. You will act as a key member of IT leadership, providing mentorship to analysts, developers, and partner teams, defining architectural standards and reusability frameworks, and collaborating with production support teams.
Required qualifications include 15+ years in end-to-end supply chain process and system transformation, deep functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA modules, proven experience with IBP or equivalent advanced planning tools, understanding of SAP BTP and integration frameworks, and hands-on experience in greenfield and brownfield SAP implementations. Prior exposure to manufacturing, aerospace, or automotive supply chains is preferred. You should have strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to translate business strategy into executable technology roadmaps.
