Roblox is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the Creator Game Operations team, which empowers developers and creators within the Roblox ecosystem. You will have end-to-end responsibility for building and owning mission-critical backend systems that support creators publishing 3D social experiences.
The Creator Success Team focuses on tools and platforms around the Creator Hub, Developer Forum, and Creator Dashboard. Key projects include: building ML-driven services and large-scale data pipelines to provide player insights and optimize monetization for creators; developing a next-generation communication platform with powerful tools for community management, virtual event organization, and player feedback collection; and building a state-of-the-art remote configuration and experimentation platform to support games with the world's largest concurrent user counts.
In this role, you will lead technical decision-making and guide the development team, lead engineering and development for services and systems at massive scale, collaborate with cross-functional and cross-team leaders to push boundaries, and self-organize to take ownership of projects throughout their full lifecycle. The team values fast iteration, bias toward action, and maintaining a long-term vision.
