Salary: USD 214,000 - 245,000 / annual

Spring Health is a global mental health company building an AI-native platform to eliminate barriers to mental health. The company reaches over 170 million people worldwide through employers, health plans, and partners, offering personalized support across self-guided tools, coaching, therapy, medication management, and specialty care. Reporting to the VP of Care Innovation, the Principal Product Manager for Provider Platform will define and build the next generation of Spring Health's provider experience. This is a hybrid role based in New York City or San Francisco, with expectations to be in the office 2–3 days per week. Candidates must be based in the NYC or SF metro area or able to relocate independently within 90 days of start date. Occasional travel for team on-sites is required. Key responsibilities include: - Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the provider platform - Develop deep understanding of provider needs across different care-delivery, practice, and caseload models - Create flexible provider experience supporting clinical care, practice management, referrals, scheduling, documentation, billing, and payments - Identify opportunities to simplify fragmented workflows and create cohesive experiences across the provider journey - Lead evolution of mature products and platform capabilities while maintaining reliability, provider trust, and care continuity - Partner with provider operations, network, clinical, finance, and commercial leaders to connect product decisions to business performance - Lead cross-functional teams spanning design, engineering, data, operations, clinical, and go-to-market functions - Establish thoughtful approach to product adoption and change management across large, diverse provider network - Use provider research, behavioral data, competitive intelligence, and financial analysis to identify unmet needs and make investment tradeoffs - Define and measure success across provider retention, platform engagement, administrative efficiency, payment experience, caseload growth, and care continuity - Communicate product strategy, sequencing, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to senior executives and stakeholders Success metrics include achieving top-line business growth targets through credible phased roadmap, measurable improvement in provider retention and engagement, increased adoption of platform capabilities that reduce administrative burden, scalable platform foundation enabling future growth, demonstrated executive cross-functional leadership, and senior stakeholder alignment around clear strategy. REQUIREMENTS: - 10+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex, strategically important platform products - Proven track record of setting product strategy and delivering across platform evolution, large-scale product transformation, or zero-to-one development - Experience building products for professional users whose workflows, trust, and economic outcomes are critical to the business - Strong commercial and financial judgment, with ability to connect product decisions to customer value, retention, growth, and operational performance - Technical fluency and experience partnering closely with engineering on platform architecture, integrations, data models, and sequencing decisions - Rigorous approach to discovery and measurement combining qualitative research, behavioral data, competitive intelligence, and financial analysis - Demonstrated success leading through ambiguity, making difficult tradeoffs, and driving execution across multiple teams and functions - Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with ability to articulate product strategy and tradeoffs to senior leadership - Experience introducing significant product or workflow changes while maintaining user trust, platform reliability, and business continuity - Experience in healthcare, digital health, fintech, or another regulated and operationally complex industry is strongly preferred. Experience with clinician-facing products, insurance workflows, or revenue-cycle management is a meaningful advantage.
