Nutanix is seeking a seasoned Principal Product Manager to lead the Hybrid Cloud Platform group's product portfolio strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market initiatives. You will drive the vision for Nutanix's platform across edge, data center, and service-provider deployment scenarios, optimizing performance on general-purpose servers. In this role, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for server platforms, translating market trends into precise component requirements, qualifying hardware models, and guiding products from concept through post-launch sales ramp. You'll conduct data analysis and market validation to fuel product positioning and sales enablement, ensuring sharp communication of Nutanix's value proposition. You will partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Alliances, Marketing, and Sales Operations to streamline qualification processes, automate quoting and selection tools, and remove friction points that slow revenue growth. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of compute, virtualization, and software-defined storage, requiring you to influence stakeholders across the organization without direct authority. You'll report to the Director of Product Management in a geodispersed, collaborative team environment. The role operates on a hybrid basis with three days per week onsite in San Jose, fostering vital face-to-face collaboration while providing flexibility. Limited travel may be required based on project needs and team engagements. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (CS/IT preferred; MBA a plus) with deep knowledge of virtualization, x86 server hardware, or storage platforms. You should have 5+ years of PM experience with a proven track record of conceiving, building, and launching industry-leading products. Strong background in enabling field teams and supporting pre-sales engagements is essential, with technical business development experience preferred. You must demonstrate high-energy leadership, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational abilities.
