Oso Semiconductor is seeking a Principal Digital & Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to own the design and implementation of control, interface, calibration, monitoring, and mixed-signal support circuitry in next-generation beamformer ICs.
In this senior hands-on role, you will develop digital logic and mixed-signal blocks that configure and monitor multi-channel RF front ends. Your responsibilities span from serial interfaces and register maps through on-chip sensors, data converters, and built-in test functions. You will work across the full design lifecycle—from architecture and RTL through transistor-level analog/mixed-signal design, verification, tapeout, and silicon bring-up.
You'll collaborate closely with RFIC, systems, test, and layout engineers to build robust digital control and observability into the chips. This is a technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in both digital and analog design domains, with accountability for delivering high-quality mixed-signal IP that meets performance, power, and reliability targets.
REQUIREMENTS:
The posting does not explicitly state years of experience, educational requirements, or specific technical certifications. However, the "Principal" level and scope (owning multi-domain IC design from architecture through silicon) imply significant experience in digital and mixed-signal IC design, RTL development, analog circuit design, and silicon bring-up.
