Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, a platform enabling organizations dependent on physical operations to harness IoT data for actionable insights. The company serves agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — industries representing over 40% of global GDP.
You will join the Go-To-Market Systems (GTMS) team as a Senior Business Technology Product Manager on the Sales Execution pod. This is a builder's product role where you own the seller experience end-to-end: identifying high-friction moments in the deal cycle and shipping solutions that make sellers faster, more accurate, and more confident.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the roadmap for seller-facing quoting, approvals, and opportunity workflows across Salesforce and CPQ, translating ambiguous go-to-market problems into shipped solutions with clear, measurable outcomes.
- Discover and prioritize ruthlessly by partnering deeply with Sales, Deal Desk, and Finance to identify highest-leverage problems and define success metrics.
- Build, don't just spec: create clickable prototypes, stand up dashboards and data models, and ship internal tools and AI-assisted workflows with engineering partnership for scale.
- Own what you ship as a living product: instrument adoption, track usage and business impact, and iterate with the same rigor as customer-facing products.
- Use modern AI tools as a core part of your workflow — from requirements and analysis to prototyping and building — to raise your own leverage and the team's.
- Champion and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as the company scales globally.
You will partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, and Engineering. This role emphasizes hands-on building and iteration, not just requirements documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of product management experience (or equivalent experience building and owning enterprise software or internal tools), with ownership of a product domain and a track record of shipping.
- Experience with go-to-market or revenue systems — Salesforce (CRM), CPQ/quoting, or adjacent sales/revenue-operations tooling.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into clear requirements and measurable product outcomes.
- Hands-on comfort building with modern AI tools — excited to prototype and build yourself, not only delegate.
- Strong stakeholder management across Sales, Finance, and Engineering.
IDEAL CANDIDATE ALSO HAS:
- Ability to build real artifacts directly — clickable prototypes, SQL-backed dashboards, or working POCs — without waiting in a dev queue.
- Experience building or operating AI agents/assistants in production (adoption, evals, iteration, rollback).
- Deep Salesforce/CPQ domain expertise (quote-to-cash, approvals, opportunity management).
- Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., Workato) and hands-on data skills (SQL).
- Track record of driving real adoption of internal tools, not just launching them.
