Okta is seeking a Principal Business Systems Analyst to lead the People Technology portfolio's Growth & Talent pod. Reporting to the Director of People Technology, you will serve as both a Delivery Lead and Principal Product Analyst, owning complex, multi-system initiatives spanning Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Performance, Learning, and Career Development.
You will be the critical bridge between Product Management, Recruiting/Talent Acquisition leadership, Talent Management, and People Operations, driving technical execution of a prioritized backlog aligned with Okta's strategic workforce goals.
Key responsibilities include: strategically scoping and leading multi-quarter, executive-sponsored projects across the Growth & Talent ecosystem (Greenhouse ATS integration, Cornerstone L&D optimization, Workday Talent & Performance); serving as the functional specialist and delivery lead for talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, learning management, and career development technology integrations; partnering with enterprise architects to drive seamless end-to-end integrations across Greenhouse, Cornerstone, and Workday; managing delivery against a prioritized backlog; operating actively in a Scrum framework; identifying opportunities to optimize and automate recruitment workflows and employee learning paths through modern technology and AI; proactively identifying and resolving project-level risks and cross-system integration blockers; mentoring junior analysts and developers; and acting as the primary conduit between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, owning functional requirements, business process flows, data mappings, and use cases.
You will bring 10+ years of related experience in People Technology/HRIS (with a Bachelor's degree) or 6+ years with a Master's degree. Deep functional and technical knowledge of Greenhouse (ATS), Cornerstone (LMS/L&D), and Workday Talent & Performance is essential. You should demonstrate expertise in talent acquisition workflows, onboarding processes, performance management, succession planning, learning management systems, and career development platforms. Strong project management, stakeholder communication, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions are critical.
