Recursion Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Principal AI Researcher to join its cross-functional team advancing AI-powered drug discovery. The role focuses on frontier research and end-to-end applications across discovery, design, and translation in biomedical science.

As Principal AI Researcher, you will work at the intersection of AI and biomedical science, developing a unifying biomedical world model by bridging virtual patient and virtual cell concepts. You'll collaborate with top-tier scientists, engineers, and drug discovery experts in a lean startup-like environment with rapid iteration cycles and real-world feedback loops. The role involves advancing frontier AI research while maintaining close connections to practical drug discovery applications.

REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD in Machine Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of frontier AI research experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with large datasets and cross-functional AI projects
- Passionate about real-world applications and impact
- Experience in biomedicine and drug discovery is a plus; willingness to learn is essential
