Nexthink is seeking a PowerShell Automation Engineer to join its Accelerate Services team in Bengaluru. You will work closely with delivery consultants to perform feasibility studies and design automation solutions that address customers' infrastructure and system issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate requirements through thorough understanding of system parameters and interactions
- Design, develop, and test scripts and automation modules for production systems
- Create and maintain workflows and script documentation
- Integrate PowerShell with multiple systems using APIs
- Maintain, improve, and add new features to legacy code
- Support large Windows infrastructure environments and Office 365 product suite administration

Requirements:
- BA/BS in computer science or computer engineering (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of development experience
- Strong PowerShell scripting knowledge supporting large Windows infrastructure environments
- Strong Bash scripting in macOS environments
- Good Python scripting knowledge
- Experience with contemporary development tools such as Git
- Ability to interface with applications like ServiceNow and other IT systems
- Experienced in PowerShell development for Office 365 product suite (SharePoint, Teams, Office Administration, Azure Active Directory)
- Working knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and security
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies independently
- API and webhooks experience is a plus
