Salary: USD 85,000 - 105,000 / annual
Turion Space is seeking a PLM Change Analyst to serve as the central point of contact for all Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) operations supporting spacecraft development and secure documentation practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Irvine, California headquarters.
You will own the end-to-end management of engineering change orders (ECOs), engineering change requests (ECRs), item masters, bill of materials (BOMs), drawing releases, procedures, and work instructions. Your core responsibilities include ensuring all documentation and change records meet company configuration management standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
Key duties encompass executing and processing ECOs/ECRs in the PLM system, routing and tracking change requests through required reviews and approvals, and performing PLM system administration including user onboarding, permissions, role management, and training. You will support PLM implementation activities such as data migration, feature rollouts, template configuration, and process updates. You'll monitor system performance, identify issues, and coordinate resolutions with PLM technical support.
Collaboration is essential: you will work across engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to facilitate document approval workflows, resolve configuration control issues, and maintain documentation consistency. You will draft and maintain procedures, work instructions, guidelines, and flowcharts while training team members on PLM processes and change management best practices. Participation in Change Control Board (CCB) meetings and support for PLM integration with ERP, ECAD (Altium), and MCAD (SolidWorks) systems are also key responsibilities.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in document control, configuration management, or engineering change management. You must demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills (oral and written), and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workflows while meeting time-sensitive deadlines. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or TS/SCI clearance is required.
Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or higher, 5+ years of direct PLM system experience (Agile, Windchill, Arena, or similar), PDM or ERP system experience, strong analytical skills, configuration management system expertise, prior aerospace industry experience, familiarity with AS9100 and ISO9001 standards, and knowledge of quality assurance processes.
