Onomondo is an IoT connectivity platform that sits at the intersection of SaaS and telecom. The company provides the infrastructure layer that keeps connected devices online globally, along with a management and monitoring platform for engineers. You'll join the Platform Engineering team at their Copenhagen headquarters (Islands Brygge) to build and maintain the core platform that enables product squads to ship software securely and reliably.
In this role, you will focus on shaping cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes operations, developer tooling, and CI/CD pipelines. You'll work at the intersection of infrastructure and developer experience, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team spanning Network, Platform, and SRE functions. The team operates with a highly collaborative mindset, and you'll have the opportunity to learn from domain specialists while making direct impact on operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and optimizing the Kubernetes platform, driving autoscaling, service resiliency, and efficient workload orchestration
- Designing, building, and maintaining secure, modular, and reusable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code to support global scalability and reliability
- Maintaining and evolving CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, consistent, and safe software delivery with high developer autonomy
- Creating internal platform tooling, "paved path" workflows, and self-service infrastructure to reduce developer friction and promote engineering best practices
- Evolving metrics, logging, and observability; eventually participating in on-call rotation to ensure high availability and swift incident response
- Balancing ease of use with compliance, security, and efficiency in platform governance

REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong experience managing production workloads on Kubernetes
- Hands-on proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, OpenTofu, Crossplane)
- Practical experience building automated CI/CD pipelines and self-service platforms for software developers
- Experience with cloud fundamentals (AWS) and security practices
- Experience with observability platforms using modern tools (Grafana Cloud for metrics, logs, and traces)
- Background working in small to medium-sized platform teams
- Familiarity with on-call rotations and driving post-incident reliability improvements (not required)
BONUS:
- Experience operating a platform not using Kubernetes
- Telecom (TelCo) industry experience
