Cyera is seeking a Platform Architect / Forward Deployed Engineer to join its Platform Architecture team. This is a hands-on technical role, not an advisory position. You will personally architect, deploy, and operate Kubernetes-based infrastructure inside customer cloud environments, writing Terraform, configuring networking, and debugging production issues from initial technical conversations through go-live and handoff to Customer Success.
You'll work in regulated, high-stakes environments—banks, insurers, government agencies—where standard SaaS deployment doesn't work. Your architectural judgment on security, infrastructure, and delivery directly impacts whether multi-million-dollar deals close and remain successful.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architect and deploy Kubernetes clusters, networking, and identity/security configuration in customer cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), hands-on keyboard work
- Engage early in the sales cycle for technically complex or regulated deals; own proof-of-value builds and carry them through production go-live
- Serve as the technical authority in the room, combining the architectural depth of a Sales Engineer with the hands-on execution rigor of a Customer Success Engineer
- Operate independently, taking ambiguous, high-stakes problems to resolution using documentation, AI tooling, and internal channels proactively
- Document and distribute lessons learned to fellow Platform Architects and Forward Deployed Engineers
- Travel to customer sites for kickoffs, critical escalations, and team offsites as needed
