Hims & Hers, a leading digital health platform and NYSE-traded public company, is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead pharmacy operations at its Gilbert, Arizona mail-order pharmacy facility. This is a hands-on management role overseeing pharmacy technician teams in a fast-paced, regulated healthcare environment. You will manage all front-end pharmacy operations, including hiring, scheduling, and day-to-day oversight of pharmacy technician staff. Key responsibilities include leading team huddles and one-on-ones to drive performance, ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations (DEA, FDA, HIPAA), analyzing operational metrics around safety and efficiency, and developing standard operating procedures. You'll work closely with the General Manager and operations leadership to align pharmacy and pharmacist teams with business objectives. The role requires hands-on pharmacy duties including drug utilization reviews, medication label verification, patient counseling, and quality assurance work. You'll also lead pharmacy technician education programs and serve on the pharmacy quality team. As the business scales, you may be required to obtain pharmacy licenses in multiple states. This is a Wednesday–Saturday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM shift based on-site in Gilbert. The position involves working with hazardous drugs, requiring PPE (gloves, respiratory protection, gown) and medical clearance for respirator use. Physical demands include standing up to 100% of the time, walking 50%, lifting up to 50 lbs, and squatting/bending up to 20% during shifts. Required qualifications: PharmD (Bachelor's in Pharmacy minimum), 5–7 years in a pharmacy supervisory role managing licensed pharmacy technicians, active pharmacist license in Arizona or willingness to obtain one, knowledge of state/federal pharmacy law, mail-order/mail-service pharmacy experience, and proficiency in Windows-based systems. You must be able to work flexible shifts, stand for extended periods, and lift safely.
