Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities, seeks a Personnel Security Specialist to support its Industrial Security team. This role manages cleared personnel, classified programs, and secure facilities in compliance with stringent national security requirements.
You will serve as a member of Anduril's Security Services Team, supporting employees across the United States. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll take independent action to analyze problems and provide focused solutions while communicating effectively with diverse audiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and initiating personnel clearance background investigations and processing visit access requests (VARs) and SEAD 3 reporting via DISS
- Providing personnel security guidance aligned with the 13 adjudicative guidelines
- Handling in-person and virtual requests for security services, including new hire orientation briefings, cleared employee training, and foreign travel briefings
- Processing visitor requests and managing clearance information in visitor databases
- Coordinating classified meetings requiring VARs and liaising between Security Services and meeting hosts
- Managing clearances for SCI billeted programs, including nomination packages and indoctrination scheduling
- Maintaining internal security databases with clearance, access, visit, and adverse information
- Communicating with employees regarding additional information requests
- Enforcing Anduril's security policies and procedures
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of Anduril information in DISS
Required qualifications include a high school diploma and two years of related administrative and customer service experience. You must possess excellent organizational and tracking skills with strong attention to detail. Experience with DoD 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD Manual 5105.21 is required. Familiarity with DoD clearance processes (DISS, NBIS, eAPP, SF86, SIMS) is desired. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and professional communication skills are essential. A current U.S. Secret security clearance is mandatory. The role is in-person at Anduril's Costa Mesa office.
