GetYourGuide is seeking a People Operations Specialist to support its APAC region (Bangkok, Hong Kong, Sydney, Tokyo) based in Bangkok. You will be the primary People Operations contact for APAC employees, reporting to the central People Operations team in Berlin. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the go-to HR contact for APAC employees, advising on local HR processes across the employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, relocation, visa support, and benefits administration. - Design and maintain sustainable, user-friendly HR processes that ensure local regulatory compliance and labor law requirements across APAC regions. - Act as a liaison between APAC employees and leadership, and central business teams in Germany, ensuring smooth communication and alignment. - Support performance management processes, including Performance Improvement Plans and resulting actions such as separations and offboarding, in collaboration with the centralized People Relations team. - Provide support in resolving employment legal matters related to misconduct investigations, employee grievances, crisis management, and other employment law issues. - Oversee APAC office operations with a focus on Bangkok, including coordinating catering, F&B arrangements, and managing office vendor relationships. - Collaborate with People Team stakeholders (People Partners, Payroll, People Relations, People Systems) to deliver a seamless employee experience aligned with GetYourGuide's People strategy. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with three days in-office (Mon, Tue, Thu) and two days optional remote work. Requirements: - University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field. - Minimum 4-5 years of experience in People Operations (HR) within a dynamic, fast-paced, international environment. - Fluent in English and Thai, both written and spoken, with comfort communicating across different cultures and time zones. - In-depth knowledge of Thai labor law and experience collaborating with external legal advisors; knowledge of labor law and immigration for other APAC regions is a plus. - Experience with HRIS systems (preferably Workday), ticketing systems such as Jira Service Desk, and Google Suite. - Exceptional interpersonal skills with a people-oriented approach and ability to guide diverse stakeholders. - Highly organized with ability to manage priorities across multiple stakeholders and locations in a high-velocity environment.
