As a Payroll Associate based in the Bogotá office, you will execute end-to-end payroll operations and serve as a key finance operations team member. Your responsibilities include calculating gross/net pay, overtime, commissions, bonuses, and deferred compensation; managing the full hire-to-retire employee lifecycle in Workday (onboarding, offboarding, salary adjustments, leave of absence); ensuring strict compliance with local payroll legislation, tax withholdings, and mandatory deductions; performing regular audits of payroll records and reconciling general ledger entries; serving as the primary point of contact for employees and supervisors on payroll inquiries; and proactively identifying data inaccuracies and implementing reporting improvements.
This is a full-time, onsite role requiring five days per week in the Bogotá office. You will work with global stakeholders and collaborate across a company focused on solving hard problems with real-world impact.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in a multinational or high-growth tech environment
- Advanced hands-on experience with Workday (Payroll and HCM modules) highly preferred
- Understanding of US payroll taxes, labor laws, and statutory deductions (a plus)
- Full professional proficiency in English (B2 or higher) for daily communication with global stakeholders, report writing, and system navigation
- Strong Excel skills and ability to reconcile complex data sets
