You will own the end-to-end operations of Amenitiz's integrated hotel payment processing platform, managing disputes, negative balance recovery, payout reconciliation, and risk monitoring. This is a foundational role where you will design and build the payments operations function from the ground up, establishing processes, automations, and controls that scale. Key responsibilities include: managing the complete dispute lifecycle from intake through representment and win-rate optimization; monitoring dispute-rate thresholds and proactively escalating at-risk accounts; maintaining negative balance recovery through aging dashboards and cohort tracking; overseeing payout and settlement reconciliation across payment platforms, bank statements, and internal systems; investigating discrepancies and automating recurring workflows; monitoring payment risk and fraud signals in partnership with payment providers; owning payments reporting and data quality through weekly risk dashboards and monthly KPI scorecards; building scalable SOPs, controls, and audit trails; serving as the primary point of contact for payments operations across Customer Care, Success, Onboarding, Product, and Finance teams; and providing backup support for critical billing workflows during high-volume periods. You should bring 2–4 years of payments operations, disputes/chargebacks, or merchant risk experience at a PSP, fintech, marketplace, or platform business. Hands-on dispute lifecycle experience with Visa/Mastercard rules is essential. Experience with connected-account and platform payment models (Stripe Connect, Adyen for Platforms) is required. You must be comfortable with reconciliation across processor reports, bank statements, and internal ledgers. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and SQL proficiency (or willingness to learn) are necessary. You excel at stakeholder management across support, product, finance, and external providers. You are data-driven, working close to numbers rather than impressions. You have a builder's mindset—creating SOPs and workflows from scratch, defaulting to automation over manual work. You are autonomous, structured, and proactive, with fluent English. Additional languages (French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese) are a plus.
