Salary: EUR 22,400 - 33,600 / annual
GoCardless is a global bank payment company processing US$130bn+ annually across 30+ countries. This Payment Operations Analyst role is based in Riga and focuses on the day-to-day execution of critical payment processes worldwide.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payment processing, managing manual interventions as needed
- Reconciling transaction movements against bank account statements and promptly reporting anomalies
- Reviewing, processing, and challenging chargebacks with evidence gathering and manual submission
- Responding to internal stakeholder tickets and ad-hoc queries about payment statuses
- Collaborating with global teams (Customer Support, Risk, Compliance, Product, Engineering) on account reconciliations and payment queries
- Engaging with external parties such as banks and suppliers to resolve issues
- Leading and participating in incidents affecting payment processing or reconciliation, ensuring compliance with customer, banking partner, scheme, and regulatory commitments
This role offers excellent exposure to the payments industry and global bank payment operations. You'll be trained and supported by GoCardless's growing Operations team in Riga.
