Tava Health is a fast-growing mental health technology company reimagining how people access therapy and how providers deliver care. As a Payer Enrollment Specialist, you'll be central to scaling our clinical network by managing the insurance enrollment process for clinicians joining our platform.
You'll own the end-to-end enrollment workflow: preparing insurance applications for commercial and Medicaid payers, ensuring accurate and timely submissions, monitoring application status, and resolving payer issues as they arise. You'll maintain provider demographic information across insurance directories and manage payer roster submissions and audits. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams and direct communication with providers, serving as their primary point of contact for enrollment questions and concerns.
Key responsibilities include preparing applications for multiple insurance payers, following up on application status, troubleshooting enrollment blockers, updating provider information in payer systems, supporting roster maintenance and audits, and maintaining strict confidentiality of all credentialing data.
You'll bring a minimum of 2 years of credentialing or enrollment experience, plus 2 years in medical practice business office operations. A bachelor's degree is preferred. You're detail-oriented, able to work independently for extended periods, and comfortable with web-based systems and learning new applications quickly. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, and remote work experience is a plus.
