As a Partnership Development Representative (PDR), you will be the first point of contact for prospective partners, responsible for identifying, engaging, and nurturing high-quality partnership opportunities that align with Payhawk's strategic growth objectives. Your primary goal is to schedule qualified meetings for the Partner Manager with strategic potential partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Researching and identifying potential partners that align with company strategic goals, understanding their business models, pain points, and how Payhawk's solutions address their challenges
- Developing and executing outreach strategies through personalized emails, phone calls, and LinkedIn messaging to introduce the company and partnership benefits
- Qualifying potential partners by assessing their business needs, fit based on goals and market positioning, and willingness to partner
- Scheduling meetings between the Partner Manager and qualified prospects who are genuinely interested and strategically aligned
- Following up with potential partners post-initial contact, keeping them engaged, and addressing questions or concerns
- Preparing detailed handovers to the Partner Manager with context on partner needs, expectations, and previous communications
- Collaborating with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) to align on partnership strategies and refine outreach campaigns

Requirements:
- Strong BDR or sales background with interest in transitioning to a strategic partnership-focused role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of B2B sales processes and partnership development
- Ability to research and identify potential partners aligned with company objectives
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Ability to build and maintain relationships through trust, transparency, and personalized engagement
- Goal-oriented, self-starter, proactive in identifying new opportunities
- Adaptability and emotional intelligence
- Professional-level German language skills required
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work (no visa sponsorship available)
