The Nuclear Company, a Series A AI-enabled startup in the nuclear energy space, is hiring an Organizational Effectiveness & Performance Improvement Analyst to join its team in Columbia, South Carolina. The role focuses on driving measurable improvements in organizational and operational performance through data-driven analysis, process improvement, and continuous improvement culture building.
Key responsibilities include conducting root cause analyses to identify performance gaps and recommend corrective strategies; facilitating cross-functional process improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Human Performance) in partnership with department leaders; leveraging data analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau) to build and maintain performance dashboards that track initiative progress and provide real-time insights to leadership; identifying and implementing technology-enabled solutions, including AI-powered data analysis and process automation tools, to streamline assessments and accelerate gap identification; analyzing operational, human performance, and business data to identify trends and improvement opportunities; partnering with leadership to design and monitor organizational effectiveness initiatives; developing and delivering training on improvement methodologies; and supporting change management efforts.
The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of experience in organizational effectiveness, performance improvement, process improvement, or related operational roles. Required qualifications include demonstrated experience conducting root cause analyses that led to measurable improvements, proven ability to analyze operational and business data, and experience facilitating cross-functional process improvement initiatives from scoping through implementation. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Industrial Engineering, or related field, and Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) certification or Human Performance Improvement (HPI) training.
