Shield AI, a venture-backed defense-tech company, is seeking an Oracle Implementation Lead to spearhead the transformation of its supply chain operations through Oracle Cloud adoption. This role bridges current operations and future state, combining implementation leadership with long-term system stewardship.
During the implementation phase (6–12 months), you will lead Oracle Cloud Supply Chain implementation workstreams covering Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, and Planning modules. You'll collaborate with Oracle consultants to translate business requirements into system configurations, develop and execute comprehensive testing plans including UAT, train end-users, and create documentation. You'll identify process improvements and embed them into the new system design, working across IT, business stakeholders, and consultants to ensure real-world success.
Post-go-live, you'll transition into a permanent role as Oracle System Administrator and Material Planner within the Supply Chain team. Responsibilities include managing user access and configurations, maintaining data integrity, serving as the go-to resource for supply chain reporting and analytics, managing material planning activities (demand forecasting, inventory optimization, supplier coordination), and continuously improving system usage based on performance metrics and feedback.
You bring proven supply chain operations experience with ERP system exposure—Oracle Cloud experience is strongly preferred. You have hands-on involvement in at least one ERP implementation focused on supply chain modules, strong understanding of material planning, inventory management, and procurement processes, and the ability to translate operational needs into system configurations. Excellent communication skills across technical teams, executives, and frontline users, combined with an analytical mindset for solving complex problems and improving processes, are essential.
