As an Operations Specialist I, you will be the backbone of Airspace's operations team, working on the front lines to set up new orders, manage customer communications, and ensure successful delivery of the world's most critical packages. Your primary responsibilities include:
**Operating the Airspace Platform:**
- Set up new orders by adhering to standard work practices and client-specific SOPs
- Rapidly transition between critical tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Confirm job milestones are completed correctly and on time
- Navigate and interpret airline booking and tracking websites
- Follow process and communication standards across multiple platforms
- Stay independently informed by reviewing all company communications
**Proactive Customer Updates:**
- Professionally relay delays, issues, and updates to customers via verbal and written communication
- Anticipate potential problems (weather, traffic) and proactively offer alternative solutions to meet or exceed delivery timelines
**Intuitive Problem Solving:**
- Update, manage, and modify airway bills using training and knowledge
- Source driver coverage for order segments
- Apply situational awareness to determine when additional driver incentives are necessary
- Develop creative, out-of-the-box solutions to common and uncommon operational issues
