Kodiak Robotics is a leader in autonomous ground transportation, founded in 2018 and headquartered in the southern United States. The company has developed an AI-powered technology stack for commercial trucking and works with the U.S. Department of Defense on autonomous capabilities. Kodiak made history in 2024 as the first known company to publicly deliver a driverless semi-truck to a customer and continues to deliver freight daily using its autonomous technology. As an Operations Specialist, you will support Kodiak's development and production operations in a safe, efficient, and precise manner. Your responsibilities include communicating with multiple safety drivers in a professional and courteous manner, accurately tracking and documenting the progress of autonomous vehicle runs throughout your shift, and managing driver schedules based on available assignments (which may include weekend and night shifts). You will manage and update information within the company's Truck Management System, create and maintain standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation for operations processes, and troubleshoot and document any issues encountered with the autonomous system. Additional duties include reporting trip issues and logistical discrepancies as needed and assisting with autonomous vehicle system setup, including cross-checks through checklists and required health checks. You should be willing and able to work flexible shifts and schedules including days, nights, and weekends. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with the ability to work under high-stress situations while using good judgment, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of how to troubleshoot problems using various operating systems. Proficiency with Google Office tools (spreadsheets, docs, drive, etc.) is required, along with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask. Previous experience in a call center or similar environment is preferred.
