Coinbase is seeking an Operations Senior Associate to join the International EMEA Ops team within the Consumer & Business group. Based remotely in Luxembourg, you will report to the Head of Operations and drive day-to-day business operations for Coinbase Ireland Limited across the EEA, with a focus on regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include owning daily business operations across all lines of business, managing performance against targets, and surfacing risks to leadership. You will drive improvements to operational and regulatory reporting by streamlining data sets, building dashboards, and producing actionable insights using SQL, Snowflake, and Looker. You'll develop and execute local operational and outsourcing processes to meet regulatory requirements, including day-to-day management of the outsourcing risk management framework.
You will partner with functional owners, central teams, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with the outsourcing framework and effective management of third-party risk. You'll lead discrete cross-functional initiatives and ad hoc projects spanning operations, growth, strategy, and regulatory priorities. Additionally, you will support regulatory and product operations activities for CBIE, including preparation of materials for internal and external regulatory meetings.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of experience in financial services, management consulting, operations strategy, or data analysis, with demonstrated ability to operate in a regulated environment. You must have a proven track record building or improving operational processes end-to-end, from design through implementation and ongoing measurement. Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, and Looker (or comparable BI tools) is essential, with demonstrated ability to self-serve insights and produce dashboards independently.
Direct experience with outsourcing governance and third-party risk management in a regulated financial services setting is required, including maintaining documentation, controls, SLAs, and governance records. You should demonstrate the ability to translate complex, ambiguous problems into structured workplans and execute against them with minimal oversight. Experience utilizing generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs, is valued.
