Scale is hiring an Operations Program Manager to drive critical operational processes supporting the company's rapid growth across multiple industries, including autonomous vehicles and machine learning. In this role, you'll own end-to-end operational solutions, tools, and processes that ensure timely service delivery and maintain quality standards as Scale onboards new customers and launches products.
You'll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, Product, and Strategy teams globally to improve processes for both new and existing customers. Key responsibilities include: driving strategic operational initiatives, improving existing processes and tools at scale, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance customer workflows, creating feedback loops between frontline teams, product, strategy, and customers, and building detailed reporting and dashboards that inform leadership decision-making across the company.
The role balances tactical execution with strategic thinking. You'll run pilots, tests, and experiments to validate new operational designs, then hand off proven solutions to operational teams for sustained execution. You're expected to be action-oriented, analytically rigorous, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-growing organization.
Ideal candidates bring experience from supply chain, finance planning, operational roles, or top-tier consulting firms. You should have an undergraduate degree from a top university in an analytics-heavy field (Engineering, Economics) or a graduate degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business. Strong process improvement, analytical, and planning capabilities are essential. Nice-to-haves include SQL, Python, or Mode Analytics experience.
This is a full-time position based in San Francisco, New York, or Seattle with competitive compensation including base salary, equity, comprehensive health/dental/vision coverage, retirement benefits, learning stipend, and generous PTO.
