As Operations Manager for the Salt Lake City market, you will lead the day-to-day execution of Veo's dockless micromobility program. This is a hands-on role where you'll oversee warehouse and field operations, manage a team of hourly associates, and drive ridership growth in your market.
Key responsibilities include: overseeing daily warehouse and field operations; setting and managing daily routes for fleet deployment and repositioning; recruiting, training, and leading a local team; identifying operational gaps and developing solutions; ensuring compliance with city agreements and company procedures; managing inventory and parts ordering; and driving timely submission of fleet health data and maintenance requests. You'll also perform hands-on tasks including moving scooters, driving vans, and maintaining equipment as needed.
The ideal candidate is self-directed, thrives in fast-paced environments, and has a bias for execution and excellent customer service. You should have at least 1–2 years of operations management experience in fleet, warehousing, distribution, delivery, or similar fields. A bachelor's degree is required, and you must be comfortable lifting 60 lbs routinely. Success will be measured by your ability to drive daily ridership, lead a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional customer service.
