Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, is expanding its licensed payment business into Kazakhstan and the broader CIS region. This Operations Manager role will be responsible for establishing, running, and growing the local fiat business from the ground up.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up and managing day-to-day fiat operations, including product localization and regulatory support
- Gathering user feedback and competitive intelligence to optimize service offerings
- Identifying and developing partnerships with local fiat providers, blockchain communities, and industry associations
- Expanding fiat-related partnerships, including on-ramp providers and KYC vendors
- Designing and executing go-to-market strategies to drive fiat volume growth through content and promotional initiatives
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with regulators, banks, and payment partners
- Staying current on applicable regulations to provide strategic guidance
- Leading local fiat growth initiatives and broader business development activities
This is a hands-on role that combines operational execution with strategic business development. You will have autonomy to shape the market entry and growth strategy in Kazakhstan while working within Binance's flat, results-driven organizational structure.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of proven success leading a business unit, business development, or business growth function at a blockchain/crypto company, financial institution, or bank
- Deep understanding of local communities and the crypto space
- Strong work ethic and commitment to results
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player
- Problem-solving and results-driven mindset
- Passion for crypto and digital assets
- Fluent in Russian and English (Kazakh strongly preferred)
