Onebrief builds AI-powered collaboration and workflow software for military planning and operational coordination. This Operations Manager role is based at Joint Base Pearl-Hickham in Honolulu and owns the entire customer relationship across a portfolio of military accounts, from end users to senior military leadership (Generals/Admirals) within the Department of War. You will serve as the senior field representative, building alignment between internal teams and government stakeholders to meet account requirements, secure sponsorship, and advance strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include: translating product usage and account health into renewal, expansion, and growth outcomes; directing a team of Partner Engagement Managers; owning customer retention and growth through renewals and upsells; communicating user needs to the product team while maintaining deep product expertise; and cultivating lasting customer trust across diverse stakeholder perspectives. You'll coordinate with fellow Operations Managers to ensure planning and workflows remain synchronized across commands, enable expansion opportunities to allies and partners, and respond to incidents by coordinating with customers and product engineering teams. Success requires navigating large government organizations, solving bureaucratic challenges, and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Minimum qualifications include: large-scale staff planning experience through military service or professional military education; familiarity with major military planning exercises and classified network deployment protocols; proven ability to expand business presence in a region, particularly with software/technology solutions; customer support experience (face-to-face and remote); strong technical skills to master the application and troubleshoot cross-platform issues; and ability to navigate government organizations effectively. You must hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and have access to DOD facilities. Preferred qualifications include technical aptitude (power-user capability and ability to discuss engineering with customers), strong cross-organizational communication skills, proactive and adaptable work style, and clear, candid communication. In the first six months, success means taking ownership of accounts and contracts, strategic growth and opportunity development, people and team leadership, executive and organizational engagement, and resource coordination.
