Wonderschool is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations for its Tri-Share and SubPool programs—platforms serving child care providers, educators, families, and employers. This role is critical to scaling reliable, user-friendly operations across multiple programs and markets.
You will manage end-to-end operations for both programs, including enrollment, eligibility, communications, payments, customer support, and reporting. You'll identify operational friction points and lead practical improvements that simplify workflows and enhance the experience for all stakeholders. Working closely with Product and Engineering, you'll translate operational needs into clear requirements and test new platform features in real-world contexts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing Tri-Share and SubPool operations, ensuring clear and scalable processes
- Creating workflows, documentation, escalation paths, and performance metrics
- Identifying and resolving friction for customers and internal teams
- Partnering with Product and Engineering on platform enhancements and launches
- Using data, customer feedback, and frontline insights to spot trends and opportunities
- Leveraging AI and automation to reduce manual work while preserving human judgment where trust and compliance matter
- Supporting program launches and expansion into new markets
You bring 4+ years of operations, program management, implementation, or customer operations experience. You're a systems thinker with strong process-improvement skills, comfortable translating between operational and technical teams. You're analytical, organized, and a clear communicator with genuine empathy for child care providers, educators, and families. Experience in child care, education, workforce development, benefits administration, or mission-driven tech is a plus, as is familiarity with CRM, support platforms, workflow automation, or payment systems.
