This role is critical to ensuring the company's Bermuda entities operate with resilience and full regulatory compliance. You will own operational execution across product operations, regulatory affairs, service delivery, technology, and outsourcing oversight. Key responsibilities include: • Manage and oversee operational functions within Coinbase Bermuda and outsourced entities, implementing policies, managing SLA frameworks, and ensuring compliance with Bermuda regulations and contractual obligations. • Build and maintain supervision frameworks across critical business areas, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and operational best practices. • Establish operational resilience frameworks, including risk identification, contingency planning, incident response coordination, and communication with regulators and service providers to maintain business continuity. • Partner with internal and external stakeholders—banking partners, regulators, and cross-functional teams (Risk, Legal, Compliance, Security, Finance, Product, Customer Experience)—to project-manage critical operations and risk initiatives. • Support first-line defense operations, including launch assessments, internal audits, regulatory examinations, and supervisory touchpoints. Required qualifications include 5+ years in financial services with demonstrated oversight of operations strategy, outsourcing, and vendor management in regulated environments. You should have proven experience in a regulated financial institution or investment business with focus on trade supervision in crypto, equities, or derivatives. Strong track record developing operational processes, producing regulator-ready documentation, and managing cross-functional delivery with senior stakeholders is essential. Familiarity with operational resilience frameworks, incident management, and business continuity planning in financial services is required. Prior experience navigating BMA-regulated industries and understanding Bermuda Monetary Authority requirements is preferred. Proficiency with generative AI tools and responsible AI practices is expected.
