Upway is building the largest marketplace for reconditioned e-bikes, making electric mobility accessible to everyone. The company sources, refurbishes, and delivers quality e-bikes to consumers while extending product lifecycles and reducing waste.
As Operations Manager in Berlin, you will lead the operations team and own critical parts of the operational workflow. Your responsibilities include leading a team of warehouse associates and bike mechanics, designing and building operational processes from the ground up, and optimizing the entire supply chain from sourcing through final delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a warehouse team including bike mechanics and associates
- Design, build, and own entire operational workflows and processes
- Analyze operational data to identify and implement optimization opportunities
- Manage supplier, manufacturer, and partner relationships
- Implement processes that balance customer experience with financial efficiency
- Build tools and dashboards to provide visibility into operations
- Work cross-functionally to support rapid growth and expansion
You bring 3-5 years of operations, finance, or equivalent experience, ideally with a background in engineering, logistics, or business. You are a strong communicator and leader comfortable managing teams in warehouse environments. You excel at problem-solving, data analysis, and establishing root causes. You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and are fully accountable for complex operational scope. Fluency in English is required; German fluency is highly preferred.
