Upway is a fast-growing e-bike refurbishment and marketplace company. As Operations Manager for the Benelux region, you will lead a team of 20+ warehouse associates (scaling to 40+) responsible for sourcing, refurbishing, and delivering high-quality e-bikes to customers. You will own critical parts of the end-to-end operational workflow, from warehouse management to last-mile delivery, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
Key responsibilities include: leading and developing a growing warehouse team with a focus on high-performance culture; designing and implementing operational processes that optimize efficiency and quality; building data dashboards and analytics to track performance and identify improvement opportunities; driving a customer-first mindset across all operations; and collaborating cross-functionally with sourcing, logistics, and customer teams to support rapid growth.
You will be hands-on and analytical, solving operational problems quickly, identifying root causes, and continuously improving processes. The role requires strong leadership in a warehouse environment, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-change startup setting.
Required: strong academic background (engineering, finance, business, or similar); 2–5 years of operations, finance, or related experience; fluent English; bias for action and speed; analytical and detail-oriented mindset; high ownership and accountability. French or Dutch language skills are a plus. You should be proactive, resilient, creative, and willing to test, learn, and iterate quickly.
