The Operations Manager role sits within the Branch team, responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering excellent customer service as Revolut expands globally. This is a high-impact position focused on scaling operations and solving complex business challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and optimizing scalable processes to support Revolut's rapid growth
- Overseeing first-line-of-defence functions including governance, regulator interactions, and business-as-usual operations
- Executing scaled operations and collaborating cross-functionally (Operations, Finance, Compliance, Marketing) across global offices
- Monitoring country-specific risk incidents and conduct issues, ensuring proper controls
- Identifying product, operational, licensing, and growth opportunities
- Managing critical vendor relationships and developing performance tracking systems
- Building strategic supply chain partnerships and negotiating commercial terms
- Running support organizations, managing stakeholder relationships, and maintaining SLAs
- Creating management information systems to track growth metrics and branch activities
- Coordinating regulatory inspections and providing required materials
Required qualifications:
- 2:1 degree or higher from a top-tier university
- 4+ years in fast-paced environments, ideally financial services or management consulting in Germany
- Fluency in English and German
- Experience managing risk, compliance, and outsourcing operations
- Proven track record of owning and leading complex projects end-to-end
- Strong problem-solving and project decomposition skills
- Natural curiosity and drive to make impact
Nice-to-have: regulator experience, branch setup experience in Germany.
