Revolut is a fintech super app serving 75+ million customers globally with products spanning spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travel. The company is rapidly expanding and seeking an Operations Manager to support its German banking branch operations.
In this role, you will oversee first-line defence functions for the branch, ensuring compliance with local regulations and delivering excellent customer service. You'll build and optimize scalable processes to support Revolut's hyper-growth, execute scale operations across the business, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Marketing.
Key responsibilities include: monitoring country-specific risk incidents and conduct issues; liaising with regulators and service owners to ensure proper controls; identifying product, operational, and growth opportunities; managing critical vendor relationships and performance tracking; developing strategic supply chain partnerships; running support organizations and maintaining SLAs; creating management information systems to track growth metrics and branch activities; and coordinating regulatory inspections.
You'll need at least 4 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in financial services or management consulting in Germany. A 2:1 degree from a top university is required. Fluency in both English and German is essential. You should have demonstrated experience managing risk, compliance, and outsourcing operations, with a strong track record of owning and leading complex projects from conception to completion. Problem-solving skills, the ability to break complex challenges into manageable tasks, and natural curiosity are critical.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience working with regulators and setting up a banking branch in Germany. Revolut values diversity and encourages applications from candidates with varied backgrounds and experiences.
