As Operations Manager in Syracuse, you will lead daily warehouse and field operations for Veo's local micromobility program. You'll oversee a team of hourly associates, manage fleet deployment and repositioning routes, and drive ridership growth in your market. Key responsibilities include: managing warehouse and field operations; performing hands-on tasks like moving scooters, driving vans, and maintaining equipment; setting and managing daily routes for team members; identifying operational gaps and implementing solutions; recruiting and training local staff; ensuring compliance with city agreements and company procedures; managing inventory and parts ordering; and submitting timely operational data and maintenance requests.
You'll be measured on your ability to drive daily ridership, lead a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional customer service. This is a fully onsite, hands-on role requiring both strategic leadership and willingness to engage in physical work (routine lifting of 60 lbs). The ideal candidate is self-directed, thrives in fast-paced environments, has 1-2 years of operations experience in fleet, warehouse, distribution, or delivery settings, and is passionate about sustainable transportation and community impact.
