Stord is a commerce-enablement platform that powers fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, and software solutions (OMS, WMS, pre/post-purchase) for leading DTC and B2B brands. As Operations Manager, you will lead day-to-day operations for an entire fulfillment center, overseeing inbound flow, put-away, outbound (B2C and B2B), and returns. You will manage and develop a team of Area Managers, operations leads, and warehouse associates to hit daily goals and maintain operational KPIs including warehouse location accuracy, dock-to-stock time, outbound SLA, order productivity, and personnel productivity. Key responsibilities include: owning inventory accuracy and quality assurance activities related to the ICQA process; managing operational P&L including budgeting and payroll; scheduling and staffing to plan; ensuring smooth execution during new client launches; coaching and developing Area Managers and associates; partnering with cross-functional teams (industrial engineering, solutions engineering, customer quality, implementations); and collaborating with HR, Safety, and Customer Service to drive results. You must be flexible and willing to work overtime including evenings and weekends. The role requires strong decision-making, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively under stress and pressure. Minimum qualifications: 5+ years in high-volume DTC fulfillment at manager level or higher; experience leading salaried teams of 5+ and non-exempt teams of 60+; hands-on experience with highly technical operations including automation; experience in 200k+ sq ft facilities; WMS configuration and troubleshooting knowledge; advanced Excel proficiency; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Bonus: bilingual (Spanish/English), Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen, degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
