Verkada is a rapidly scaling physical AI platform company with 30,000+ customers (including 100+ Fortune 500 companies), $5.8B valuation, and $1B+ in annualized bookings. The company provides integrated security solutions including video, access control, air quality sensors, alarms, intercoms, and visitor management across 170+ countries. This Operations Lead role focuses on building Verkada's nationwide security trailer business—a fast-growing segment serving construction sites, utility infrastructure, retail parking lots, and industrial yards. Security trailers deploy Verkada's full platform in hard-to-wire and temporary locations, and success requires both exceptional product and world-class operations execution. You will own the end-to-end operations engine for this business, scaling white glove delivery, installation, and servicing through a channel partner network. Key responsibilities include: building a nationwide fulfillment network; scaling the Verkada Qualified Trailer Partner program; owning trailer logistics, field reliability, and service economics; defining and executing a GTM plan that delivers seamless customer experience through a partner-led model; and collaborating with product leadership to ensure video, power, and networking solutions meet trailer customer needs. You'll spend significant time in the field with installers, integrators, and customers to understand real-world deployment constraints. The role requires orchestrating manufacturers, channel partners, installers, and Verkada's field teams in a multi-party GTM motion. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of operations, logistics, supply chain, or marketplace operations experience at high-growth companies. You should have an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Operations Research, or similar quantitative field (MBA optional). You excel at building world-class systems and processes from scratch, bringing structured thinking to ambiguous problems including market sizing, channel strategy, and ROI modeling. You demonstrate operational excellence and systems thinking—designing processes that scale from 10 to 10,000 units without breaking. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as is an entrepreneurial mindset treating the trailer business as your own company. The role is based in San Mateo, CA with a commitment to in-office culture.
